Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

May Challenge at 613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes W/ Optional Twist: Mother May I?

Time for another great anything goes challenge at 613 Avenue Create. The optional theme twist is "Mother May I.

This is my card I created for this challenge.

To create the card I used the following products:

Papers from a paper pack by Teresa Collins called Timeless Gray Damask
Window, background, and flower dies from my stash
Mother's Day sentiment by Embossing Arts Co (1993)

The last few months I have been consciously shopping from my stash.  I really get mad at myself for sometimes spending to much money in the stores or online or go to use a product that that I have purchased and it is all dried up.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week.  Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by out talented design team.
