Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

A Place to Start - Anything Goes Challenge - Optional Twist Sentiments of Thanks

Time for another great challenge over at A Place to Start. The of November's challenge as always is Anything Goes and the optional twist is to used a Thankful sentiment

inside of card

This is the thankful card I made for this challenge. The face of the card is made using a die cut for the flower from my stash, along with a background made with alcohol ink on Yupo paper. I added a fence and a stamped thank you sentiment to finish the front of the card.

For the inside of the card I used a digital Thank You sentiment from my stash along with a few die cut flowers that I  used on the front of the card.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative month. I hope you will join us this month, just create your project and enter it here.
