Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

The Luck of the Irish

This is my mixed media card for the Green challenge in honour of St. Patricks Day at Crafty CardMakers this week.  I had fun designing my card around Tom Holtz bird crazy stamps.

I coloured the birds with Copics and created the background with PanPastels.  The rainbow, blades  of grass and pot of gold are rubber stamps from my stash of stamps that I know longer remember where I got them.  I found the St. Patrick's Day digital hats free online and sized them to fit my birds. The sentiment is also a digital image.

Hope you will join our green challenge at Crafty CardMakers.  Please pop over to our challenge blog to see the beautiful creations of the rest of the design team.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a creative day.
