Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Charming



The challenge at Creative KnockOuts this week is to create a card with the theme of Charming.  Lacy Sunshine is the sponsor of the challenge and as we know we could call of their images charming.  

I chose to use the image called Eleanor Chillin'.  The supplies I used to create my card are :

          You're My Wild One, Animal Challenge at Fitztown



          Thank you for stopping by. This week at Fitztown it is an animal theme challenge and this is the card I made for the challenge.  I used a digital stamp from Fitztown called Tiger digi and can be found on Esty here

          To make my card I coloured the image with my Copic markers and layered the image on a selection animal print pattern paper. I added some coordinating brads and a sentiment I created on the computer.

          Ribbon or Lace Challenge at Holly Jolly


          Thank you for stopping by.  This is my card for the current Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge that I am host.  The challenge is to use ribbon or lace on your Christmas card. QKR Stampede is the sponsor this week and I have used one of their elf digital images for the card and you can find the image here.  I think the elf looks like he is having so much fun.

          I coloured my image with Copic Markers and glitter and added a "Joy" die cut sentiment , snowflake and a ribbon to complete my card.  Hope we will see your art work at Holly Jolly soon.

          Halloween Treat Box - Not Just Cards



          Welcome to another challenge at Not Just Cards. This is our second challenge.   My project this week is a flat back treat box using an image from one of our sponsors Fantasy Art by Nikki Burnette.


          The digital stamp is called  Fantasy Art - Witch Stamp - Zoe. I think she is just perfect for this Halloween treat box.  I coloured the image with Copics, PanPastels and glitter. You can find the instructions for this box at SplitCoastStampers.  I made the box 1 1/2 times the size of the box in the tutorial.

          Christmas treat bag made from a paper lunch bag is my project this week for paper clips, the Not Just Cards Challenge. I used this cute Christmas image called Peppermint Christmas Fairy from Nikki Burnette, one of the great sponsors this week. 

          I used several different dies to make the front panel of the treat bag and added some bling, sentiments, and lots of layers of paper from my stash.

          Altered Clock


          I had fun this week creating this altered clock for the Not Just Cards Challenge blog.  Lacy Sunshine is one of the sponsors of the challenge and I used this cute image called Emily Raindrops 1920's.
