Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Lily of the Valley

This card was created last night for an upcoming swap I am participating in. I like the card pattern the way it opens up. There is lots of real estate to decorate. The products I used to make this card are:

Lily of the Valley - unmounted - unknown
May - - unmounted - unknown
Good Life - Muse Art Stamps
Life is beautiful - Rubber Stampede
Inks - Distressed - tumble glass and Stazon - black
Lily of the valley was coloured with Tombow markers and Mink White paint from Angelwing Enterprises
The legend of the flower - Wikipedia
The world's favourite season - saying by Edwin Way Teal
Butterflies - Martha Stewart punch

  1. Judy, this is an awesome card design! I also love the way it opens up to reveal more stampy goodness!
