Colour Challenge at Holly Jolly, Red, White and Blue

It is a red, white and blue Christmas theme this week at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges.  I had this sentiment stamp by Lindy's Stamp Gang in my stash and decided to do a friendship quilt for my card.  The stamp reads "the best gifts for Christmas ??  Love...Peace...Friends!"

I used some red, white and blue pattern Christmas card stock for the quilt and arranged them in a pattern, then I embossed the sentiment with navy blue embossing powder.  I layered the sentiment on a red die cut and added a laced crochet blue ribbon to complete the card.

Come join us this week at Holly Jolly, just create your card and enter it here.

Thanks for looking.

  1. Hi Judy, thanks for your message re. the elf stamp. It's from a Personal Impressions stamp set by Lindsey Mason. Hope that helps xxx

  2. I like the effect of the squares on this card, and I think it's such a nice example of a beautiful card with no image. The sentiment and pattern of your papers give this card a great Christmas feel.
