Sweets for My Sweetie

This is my project for this weeks button and bows challenge at Fitztown.  I had fun making my goody box with this sweet image from the Valentine digital collection of Fitztown called Valentine 11.  I think the little hearts on the bottom of his feet are so cute.

I used my Cricut to cut the box for the project. The image was coloured with a combination of Copic Markers, Krylon gold leafing pen, and glitter pen.   The sentiment came from my stash along with the button.  To complete the card I added ribbon, a bow and some bling.  I love the look of the box.  I think I will give it to my grandson for Valentines day with chocolates inside of course.

There is still time to join this challenge and I hope you will.

Christmas Ornaments

The theme  of Come and Get It's challenge this week is Christmas gifts and I chose to create some Christmas Ornaments for a little gift for a friend.

I used my Cricut to cut out the stars that are the base of the ornaments then I decorated them with crafting supplies from my stash, die cuts, glitter, flowers and gems.  It was fun putting them together.

Haunting Halloween

A Haunting Halloween is the theme at Come and Get it Challenges this week. This is my challenge card. I love Halloween cards.

I used a Cheery Lynn Design die for my step card along with some Halloween paper from my stash. I used a Sizzex tombstone die cut to stamp my RIP stamp from Class Act on. With my Cricut and a die cut I cut out bats and a spider and then added some bugs eye to my spider.  To complete my card I added a sentiment from my stash from Stampin Up tied with a Halloween ribbon.

Thank you for stopping to take a look.

Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge - No Pattern Paper

It is Paige's turn to chose the challenge this week at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges. and she chose no-pattern paper.  The possibilities for making Christmas cards is endless.

I chose to use a snowman skiing for my image for this challenge.  I thought this digital stamp from Just Inklinked was so cute and a great card for my oldest grandson Josh this Christmas.  To colour him I used bright colours and added Diamond Glaze to his goggles and the water.  The snowflake background is an old rubber stamp by PSX and the die cut snowflake is cut from my Cricut.  I love the way the easel card makes him look like he is sliding down the slope.

Now I am one more card closer to having my Christmas cards made this year and it is only August.  Come join us at Holly Jolly and be ready for Christmas early this year.

It is a Flower Challenge

Crafty Sentiment Designs this week has a flower challenge. I created this card for the challenge using a cover of a tourist magazine I picked up this week on a camping holiday. I loved the autumn colors. I used my Cricut and cut out a window to frame the image. I then used an embossing folder and some white ink to give the window some texture. I stamped part of a PSX stamp of flying geese in the sky of my image and then added my autumn flowers to the window box and sentiment by Hero Arts to complete the card.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.
