About Me

Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Back to School Challenge

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at today's card that I made for the "Back to School" challenge at Come and Get It Challenges this week.  Our sponsor today is Meljen's Designs and I used one of their cute digis for my card. The digi is called "Apple for the Teacher" and it can be found here.

The sentiment I made on my computer and I added some rubber stamped letters for the background.  To complete my card I doodled an edge of one of the layers and coloured my card with Copics.  Come join us at Come and Get It and pop over to the challenge blog to see some of the cards the other design team members created to inspire you.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Crafters Companion - back to school
Mema's Challenge - anything goes
QKR Stampede – back to school
