Okanagan, BC, Canada
Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

My Town - Altered Chipboard House

It is already March and time for another great challenge over at Creative Artiste this month.

Our theme this month is as always,  Anything Mixed Media. Please make sure you use Multiply mediums in your project.

This is my project for this month.  I am calling this project My Town since I  tried to make each section another street  in the town.

This is the lovely chipboard house from A Vintage Girl Shop on Esty I used. You can also find them on facebook under A Vintage Girl Junkies.

  1. Oh Judy this is so clever I love how you open it up to discover a new street. I'm very draw to Industrial lane. I'd want to use this as a travel journal adding places of interest and maybe those that have been visited, imagine how it could/would expand over time. Such an ingenious creation.
Take care now & stay creative Tracey xx

  4. Thank you for sharing with us at SanDee&amelie’s Steampunk Challenges. I love that your town is located in the outskirts of the forest, and that there is work in the factory (lumber trade?), and shops with modern clothes. Great work. Hugs, Susan
