Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Pick a Shape - A Place to Start Challenge

This is my card this month for  challenge over at A Place to Start.  The challenge is  to make a card using one of the shapes in the board below.

As you can see for this challenge I used the circle in the design of my card along with  an easel card pattern.

I used Lavinia stamps for my card that I stamped on some paper which I coloured with different colours of alcohol ink.

I used Lavinia Rubber Stamps in my design and made a paper bead to keep in place the front of the card which I added white flowers and a butterfly.

Thank you for stoppiong by and have a creative week.  Please join us for this month's challenge just create your card and add it here.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
