Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

A Place to Start -Anythings Goes/ optional twist use words of Thanks

Time for another great challenge over at A Place to Start. The challenge is as always anything goes but with an optional twist is to create a card with the words of thanks.

This is my card I made for this challenge.

My card is just a simple thanks (die cut) , an alcohol ink panel, border layer and a flower (die cut). I also added some sparkle to the thanks and Wink of Stella to the flower.

Thank you for stopping by and have a fantastic creative week.  Hope you will join us this month for this challenge. Remember to pop over to the Place to Start to be inspired by our creative design team.

  1. A very elegant design, I love the background you've created with the alcohol inks and how it contrast with the white flowers. Hugs, María.
