Not Just Cards Art Journal Pages

Welcome  back to another challenge at Not Just Cards. Like always the challenge is "anything goes".

I have used an image by SLS Lines, one of our sponsors, for my first art journal page called Goth Girl with Top Hat.

To make this journal page I started with my Gell plate, added some stencils images, rubber stamped skeletons heads, die cut arrows, locks and keys.  The Goth girl was Copics and a Gell pen.  To complete the project I added some stenciled words.

For my second art journal page I used an image from Shadow Clocksy  Digis  called Biohazard Girl.

To make this journal page I started with one of my my Gell plate images added some eye and a sentiment.  My image was coloured with Copics , The sentiment was a quote by Ghandi.

Mad Hatter Art Journal Page

The book Alice in Wonderland turned 150 years old this month and I thought it was fitting that I create am art journal page using this great Mad Hatter digital image from SLS Lines, one of our sponsors this month at Not Just Cards

 https://www.etsy.com/shop/SLSLines

To make my journal page I added several different colours of acrylic paints to my background and used a brayer to mix the colours. I added my Mad Hatter image to the page and colured the image with my Copics, gell pen and a glitter pen.  To complete the journal page I added a coordinating piece of ribbon, washi tape and a sentiment that I created on my computer.

Cherub Gift Box

This is another of my projects for Not Just Cards this month.  I made this gift box using a digital image from Delightful Digis'  Angel and Cherub collection.

Here are additional views of the gift box.

I started my project by painting a kraft box with a couple of different colours of grey paint and edging the sides with Soot Distress Ink. My next step was to rubber stamp a flourish image all over the box giving the box an old look to it.  I coloured my Cherup image with a light colouring of Copic Markers and then applied sugaring to the complete image.

To complete the project I added a die cut "love" and a fabric sweater enclosure to the front to the box.   I like the antique look for the box.  I think it is a nice effect to go with the image.   Thank you for stopping by and I hope we have lots of creativity today.

Get Creative with Not Just Cards Anything Goes Challenge

These are my two projects I made for this week's challenge at Not Just Cards. the first image I used was by one of our sponsors, QKR Stampede  called Painter Rabbit.   I coloured my image and cut him out.   Thought it would be cute to put in a nest of Easter Eggs to be coloured.

My second project is a image from Sticky Bear called BBKates - Cool Buddy's.  I coloured the image and then added some Diamond Glaze to give the glasses some texture.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a creative day. Hope you will join us this week at Not Just Cards.
