Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Anything Goes Challenge this Month at A Place to Start

A Place to Start is having an Anything Goes Challenge this month and I have made a wedding card for a friend that just eloped.

My card was created with an image from Kenny K but unfortunately their stamps are no longer being produced.  I coloured the image with Copic Markers, Nuvo Drops, and Pentart Glitter.

I added a lace die cut, white roses and pearls to complete the card.  I hope she enjoys the card.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week.

Wedding Season

The theme of this month's challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu is "Friends from Afar", anything crafty you have made and sent to a friend or going to send to a friend.

This project is a wedding card for a friend who was married a couple of weeks ago. This is the box I I made to put the wedding card in.

Here are a few pictures of the never ending card.

Hope you will join us this month at Eclectic Ellapu. Thank you for stopping by and have a creative month.
