I decided to use this beautiful large flower stamp from Brutus Monroe called Enchanted Rose for this card.  It has been in my stash for awhile and this was the perfect place to use this stamp.

I stamped the flowers on the watercolour paper  and coloured them with my Neocolor 11 crayons by Caran D'ache.  I also used gel pens and pencil crayons on the card. I competed the card with a ribbon.

Water Colour Challenge at 613 Avenue Create

Time for another great challenge over at 613 Avenue Create, as always it is an Anything Goes Challenge and the optional twist is Watercolor.

The stamp I used for this card has been in my collection for many years.  The stamp is called Floral Collage and it is a stamp from the Tapestry Studio collection from Stamps Happen Inc.

To watercolur the image I used Caran d'Ache Neocolor 11. I have not had my watercolor crayons out for a long time and I realized that I need to get back to doing more watercolor.

Thank you for stopping by and have a Creative week.  Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by our talented design team.

I am entering this card in the following Challenges -

Make Your Own Background Challenge

Time for another challenge at Crafty Cardmakers and the theme this week is make your own background.

To create my background I blended several shades of Distress Oxides on watercolour paper and then sprayed water on the paper.

The flowers were stamped with VersaMark and embossed with gold embossing power.  The flowers were coloured Mungyo Water Colors.  To complete the card I added a happy birthday die cut.

Thank you for stopping by and remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by the creative design team members.

By the Water

It is time for another challenge at Crafty Cardmakers this week  The theme of this challenge is "water".

I used a old rubber stamp from my collection by Stamps Happen, Inc called Mother and Son for this  card.  I coloured the image with watercolours and added a computer generate sentiment along with a watercoloured hearts  and a ribbon to complete the card.

I just love the sentiment that I added to the card.  I thought it was very fitting for the image.
