Buttons and Bows

I thought I would pull out my watercolour crayons for this week's challenge at Come and Get It Challenges.   The challenge is to make a card and use a button and ribbon in your design. I used this pretty digital image from Oak Pond Creations, one of our sponsors this week for my card. The image is called simply Tulips.  I thought it was perfect for using watercolours.

THE STUDIO...

Once I had watercoloured my tulips I embossed around my image with a couple of rectangle dies and added a sentiment and of course my bow and button. To be truthful the ribbon and button were suppose  to go where the thank you was but I forgot the theme of the challenge was while I was putting the card together so I added it to the side of the card.  I liked how it worked.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.  Don't forget to stop by our challenge blog to see the beautiful creations the design team has created to inspire you.

Having Tea in the Woods and Scary Spiders

It is time for an inspirational challenge at Forever Dark this month and this is my project for the challenge.

I found this wood picture at the thrift store and thought it would make a base for my project.

I took the wood picture apart and painted a background to accent my digital image that I was using for this month's challenge. The image I used for the project is by Jade Dragonne our sponsor this month.  I also added a moon, fence, raven, bats and some skeleton heads to complete the project.

This is my second project for this challenge and I used another image from Jade Dragonne , our sponsor this week.

I coloured my image with copic markers, glitter pen and PanPastels. I added my image to some spider pattern paper from my stash and added a spider  to complete the card.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

I made this Christmas gift tag for this weeks Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge's "use a die challenge".  Our sponsor this week is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and I used their Lonely this Christmas image for the tag.

I used several different circle dies for my tag, coloured the image with Copic Markers , added a ribbon, sentiment and a metal clip to hang the tag with. Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.  Do not forget to pop over to the Holly Jolly Challenge blog to see the beautiful creations of the rest of the design team.

Cookie Jar

It is an anything goes challenge at Incy Wincy Designs and our sponsor this week is Scribbles Designs

Scribbles Designs

I used a cute digital image called Bakery for my design.  I used a cut down cereal box for my cookie container and covered the size with cardstock and added my Bakery image that I had colored with Copic Markers.  Once I had my box bottom the way I liked it I made a lid for the box, added some glittered washi tape and a wooden knob that I painted white.  the box is now ready to add some cookies or cakes to for a gift for a friend.  Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.
