I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Buttons and Bows

I thought I would pull out my watercolour crayons for this week's challenge at Come and Get It Challenges.   The challenge is to make a card and use a button and ribbon in your design. I used this pretty digital image from Oak Pond Creations, one of our sponsors this week for my card. The image is called simply Tulips.  I thought it was perfect for using watercolours.

THE STUDIO...

Once I had watercoloured my tulips I embossed around my image with a couple of rectangle dies and added a sentiment and of course my bow and button. To be truthful the ribbon and button were suppose  to go where the thank you was but I forgot the theme of the challenge was while I was putting the card together so I added it to the side of the card.  I liked how it worked.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.  Don't forget to stop by our challenge blog to see the beautiful creations the design team has created to inspire you.
