Mechanical Maiden

 Time for another great challenge at Creative Artiste this month.

Creative Artiste  Challenges are "Always Anything Mixed Media".  

Please ensure that you use multiply mediums in your project.

This is my project for this month, a reverse canvas Steampunk Mechanical Maiden.  I had lots of fun creating my project.

The Mechanical Maiden is a rubber stamp from the collection of the Shokart Mixology Sister.  The stamp can be purchased from Shokart Mixology Sister in the UK or from Pip Art Creations (Pip Shokar) in Canada. 

I had fun creating my canvas using a combination of Pentart paints (Rust Effect) , Acrylic paints, and stencil, Super Heavy Gel, numbers and pieces of a Stamperia mold made with Pentart Light modeling paste. 

I used Copic Markers to colour the Mechanical maiden along with inks and Nuvo.

To my collage I also added a large clock in the background, pocket watch , Skelton head, different gears, pocket watch with chain and numbers.

I used a image called Pixie Caramel Macchiato for this card. Isn't she sweet. 

 I coloured the card with copics and pencil crayon and mounted the image on a piece of designer paper and added sparkle amd crystal Nuvo to the image.  The  sentiment I thought was cute and I found it on Pinterest.

Anything Goes Challenge this Month at A Place to Start

A Place to Start is having an Anything Goes Challenge this month and I have made a wedding card for a friend that just eloped. 

My card was created with an image from Kenny K but unfortunately their stamps are no longer being produced.  I coloured the image with Copic Markers, Nuvo Drops, and Pentart Glitter.

I added a lace die cut, white roses and pearls to complete the card.  I hope she enjoys the card.

Anything Goes/Mood Board Challenge at 613 Avenue Create

Time for another great challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.  The theme as always is Anything Goes and the Optional Twist is a mood Board. 

This is the mood board  for this challenge is

For my card I decided to use the feather from the mood board to inspire that card I made for this challenge.

 I used a set of die cuts for the feathers and a thanks die that I cut out of some foil papers for the card.  I used an embossing an embossing folder of a tree branch for the background. The metal piece is part of a button that I created for an embellishment for the card.

I have used an digital image called TSF Fairy for my canvas I have made for one of my young family members.

I coloured the little fairy with copics, pencil crayon, white gel pen,  and Pentarts glitter pen on the wings.

I created a scene on my canvas using acrylic paint, die cut flowers, fence, butterflies, different colours of Nuvo and clouds
