About Me

Okanagan, BC, Canada
Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Spring Flower Birthday Card, Anything Goes Through the Craft Room Door

Time for another Challenge at Through the Craft Room Door
as always the theme of the challenge is Anything Goes.

Our generous Sponsor  is

Twinkle Lane Designs

The prize for this challenge is an £8 for their store

The image I used from our sponsor is called  Crocus and SnowDrops.

I love spring when the crocus come out.  Their colours are beautiful.

To make the card I cut out the image with a square cutting die and layered the image on a fancy  square cutting die.  I coloured the card with copic markers, pencil crayons, and Micro Pearls. To complete the card I added my sentiment that came with the image, ribbon and sequences.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week.
Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by the talented design team.

Have a creative week and I hope you join in our challenge
