Explosion of Colour

The theme this week for the challenge at Crafty Cardmakers is Explosion of Colour.  I made this card for my sister's birthday this month.

To create this card I used Brusho on glossy card stock.  I first stamped my card stock with several background stamps from my collection before I added the Brusho colours of purple and turquoise.
To complete the card I added two laced butterflies that I also added Brusho colour to.  My final touch was adding some white pearls and lace.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week.  Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by our creative design team and join our challenge.

Make Your Own Background Challenge

Great challenge this week at Come and Get It Challenges. the theme is make your own background.  Get out those supplies you have not used for a long time or try something different.

I have used an image called  Summer Breeze by A Day for Daisies, one of our sponsors this week  for my card.  I just love A Day for Daisies stamps.  They are so pretty and simple.

The background of my card I created by blowing Brusho inks on a piece of glossy card stock. The image was coloured with Copics.  I used a bow and sequins  to complete the card.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.

Mix Media Butterflies

I have been playing with my Brusho colour crystals this week and I decided to join in the Mix Media Card Challenge this month.  The theme of the challenge is butterflies.

I coloured my background with my brushos by sprinkling water on my card and blowing the colours around with a can of air. Once I had my background the way I wanted I stamped my clematis  and butterfly stamps on my card.  My next step was to added more Brusho colour to my butterflies with a paint brush and finish the card off with a ribbon, threaded pearls and a sentiment.

Products I used to make my card:

Stampendous Butterfly rubber stamp
PSX Clematis rubber stamp
Stampin Up sentiment rubber stamp
Brusho Crystals
White ribbon
Threaded Pearls

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.  I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Cheerful Stamp Pad - Anything Goes
2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes
Paradise of Stamps - Anything Goes

Telescope Card

A Yahoo group I belong to has a monthly card swap and this month's challenge is to make a card that is different from your normal  card style.  I chose to make a telescope card for this swap.   I also decided to use my newly purchased Brusho coloured crystals to colour my flowers, butterfly and background.

Here is my telescope card folded up.
