Altered Puzzle Game Piece

Thought I would try something different for this weeks challenge at Come and Get IT Challenges and decided on a altered puzzle piece. The theme of the challenge is to feature a critter and I decided to use this digital  image from All Dressed Up called Pirate Puppy

This was a fun project to make and once I had painted it with gesso I painted the game piece with Acrylic paint. My next step was to add some stamped images from my collection of stamps to create a collage.  I used Distress Ink on the edges of the piece and Copic Markers to colour the images.  To complete the puzzle I added some die cut clouds and a little shell I had made out of shrink plastic.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.   i am entering my project in the following challenges:

I used some digital papers from  Lisa Altered for the background of my card and added a couple of Halloween themed dies, some rubber stamped images from an old set of Stampin Up stamps, grass, and creepy eyes from my stash . My images were coloured with Copic markers.

      Winter Angel

This is one of my project for this week's challenge at Forever Dark.  I made my canvas art board with the image I used from Poppy Seed Graphics called Winter Angel

To create my art board I first glued squares of thin card board packaging on to my board then I painted it all with white Gesso.  The next step was then to glue snowflakes painted with white Gesso on a random pattern on my board. I used 2 colours of purple ink sprays on my board and some silver acrylic spray paint .   Once I had my bard the way I liked it I then added my image that I had coloured with Copics and glitter. I also used purple flock on  the shawl collar .

      Mix Media Butterflies

I have been playing with my Brusho colour crystals this week and I decided to join in the Mix Media Card Challenge this month.  The theme of the challenge is butterflies.

I coloured my background with my brushos by sprinkling water on my card and blowing the colours around with a can of air. Once I had my background the way I wanted I stamped my clematis  and butterfly stamps on my card.  My next step was to added more Brusho colour to my butterflies with a paint brush and finish the card off with a ribbon, threaded pearls and a sentiment.

Products I used to make my card:

      Stampendous Butterfly rubber stamp
      PSX Clematis rubber stamp
      Stampin Up sentiment rubber stamp
      Brusho Crystals
      White ribbon

      Mad Hatter Art Journal Page

The book Alice in Wonderland turned 150 years old this month and I thought it was fitting that I create am art journal page using this great Mad Hatter digital image from SLS Lines, one of our sponsors this month at Not Just Cards

       https://www.etsy.com/shop/SLSLines

To make my journal page I added several different colours of acrylic paints to my background and used a brayer to mix the colours. I added my Mad Hatter image to the page and colured the image with my Copics, gell pen and a glitter pen.  To complete the journal page I added a coordinating piece of ribbon, washi tape and a sentiment that I created on my computer.

      Party Invitation

This is my last project this month for Not Just Cards.  I have so much fun creating here. We a new sponsor, DiddyBag and I have used their digital images called Mexican Boys for this party invitation. They are so cute.  There are e little boys in the set and I chose these two for the invitation.

I coloured the boys with Copics, and then added a stamp sombrero to the background, and cut one out for the front of the invitation.  The sentiment is from my stash and I punched out some music note to complete the project.

Thank you for stopping by and have a very creative week.
