Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Antique Car Love


My turn to show my project using kraft paper or colouring on paper for this week's challenge at Fitztown.   I decided on kraft paper because I have hoarded lots in my stash.  I used this lovely antique car called car 4 from the interesting collection of cars digital images at Fitztown. 

The textured kraft paper is  from a friend that is a stain glass artist.  Her large pieces of glass come wrapped up in this interesting paper. 

I coloured the antique car with Copic Markers, white gell pen and pencil crayon.  I added diamond glaze to the head lights , stapled the travel background paper to the card stock and added the hand and sentiments by Tim Holtz to show case my digital image.  Both the hand and the sentiment were also stamped on kraft paper.
